Yes, the [Free plan](https://www.eraser.io/pricing) is for individuals and small teams who are getting started on Eraser. Free plan teams get a limited number of files and AI credits.

### Can I trust my data with Eraser?

Eraser is committed to [enterprise-grade security](https://www.eraser.io/?r=0#security). We are SOC II type 2 certified and annually penetration tested. Reach out to [hello@eraser.io](mailto:hello@eraser.io) to receive security documentation. Additionally Eraser will never use user data for training models. Nor will our LLM API provider OpenAI.

### Does Eraser AI provide an API?

Eraser AI does provide an [API for generating AI diagrams](https://docs.eraser.io/reference/generate-diagram-from-prompt), available to paid users. You can use our API to create custom integrations, build internal products, or customer-facing products.

### Does Eraser provide an MCP server?

Yes. The [Eraser MCP server](https://docs.eraser.io/docs/mcp) lets an agent create, search, read, update and export diagrams from clients like Claude, Cursor, VS Code and ChatGPT.
